Find The Ideal Sunglasses For Your Face Shape
Are you unsure of what sunglasses are right for your face shape? You are not alone. Finding sunglasses that compliment your face shape is difficult to say the least. You try on more than two dozen pairs and you still aren’t satisfied with any of them. This article supplies you with information that can help you locate the best sunglasses for your face shape.

Determine what type of face shape you have. Are you square, oval, oblong, round, diamond, heart or triangle.
Square
If you have a square face shape, you will generally have a strong jaw line, broad forehead and chin that is squared. The width and length of your face is comparative.
Sunglasses that will generally make your face shine are sunglasses that are oval and round framed. Butterfly shaped sunglasses will look great. Sunglasses for your face shape when you are square have temples center set or connected near the top of the sunglasses frame.
Avoid color accents on bottom of sunglass frames.
Oval
Balanced facial proportions with a narrower forehead and high cheekbones describe the oval face. Try sunglasses that are square, rectangle and geometric shapes to make your face look remarkable. These are frames that add angles to soft curves.
Stay away from oversized sunglasses.
Oblong
Faces that are longer than they are wide are oblong shape. Longer noses and taller foreheads with high cheekbones make this face.
Creating a shorter face is what you want your sunglasses to do. Broader sunglasses that have accented rims or decorative temples are good for the oblong face.
Keep away from smaller or shorter framed sunglasses.
Round
Fuller cheek areas with fewer angles and rounded chins describe the round face. Your face width and length are proportioned the same.
Select sunglasses that will sharpen your features. Horizontal, rectangular sunglasses will make your face longer and thinner. Many upswept sunglasses are nice because they draw attention to the top of your face.
Don’t select short frames that emphasize face length or small frames.
Diamond
Faces that appear narrower at the eye and jaw line are diamond; small chin and forehead along with sharp features and jawbones that is dramatic.
Sunglasses for the diamond face shape are upswept or oval that will balance the face. Rimless are beautiful for your face allowing those cheek bones to stand out.
You don’t want any sunglasses that attract attention to the narrower eye line.
Hearts
Smaller chins that have a broad forehead with wide cheek bones are heart formed or fashioned.
Bottom heavy sunglass frames that add width to the lower portion of your face are not flattering. Styles that are low set temples drawing attention to the bottom of the face are not what you want to choose. Choose narrow or round sunglasses that tend to soften the forehead.
Any style that draws attention to the upper portion of the face should be avoided. Any frames with decorative temples near the top of the sunglasses are not becoming.
Triangle
Triangle faces have a narrow forehead. The eye line widens at the cheeks and chin.
Sunglasses that have frames without rims that accentuate the upper portion of the face are great. Try sunglasses that seem to balance the jaw width, these are great for the triangle face.
Don’t go for low setting temple sunglasses or narrow frames.
